Balayage & Ombre

Balayage is low impact blonding: Creates lightness in the hair, but with a rooted, lived-in look. Leaves some dimensional pieces in the hair for a more natural feel. Includes a root tint and gloss.
Ombre: A more stark contrast of dark top/root area blending into contrasting lighter ends.
Highlights

Medium impact blonding: Higher impact brightness than balayage. Leaves delicate strands of dimension throughout the hair, but adds a lot of brightness. Includes a gloss. Can be paired with a root colour to cover greys or create a more lived-in look.
Global Lightener

High impact blonding: The lightest and brightest you can get. Lightener is painted all over the hair for bold impact. Includes a gloss. Can also be paired with a root tint for a more lived-in look.

Colouring

Colour Blocking

Used to create looks such as ‘Calico’ feature in the picture above. Colour Blocking utilises panels of colour side by side to create striking look. This can be done using natural shades or vivid shades.
Colour melts & Glosses

A colour melt is a root tint blended down into a gloss to create a soft dark to light gradient on pre-lightened hair. This is applied as part of a balayage or foilayage service, but can also be booked as a stand alone treatment to refresh a balayage/foilayage.
Global tint

Tint is painted all over to create a black, brunette or copper look (and all the shades in between). Can also occasionally be used on certain hair colours and types to create blonde shades without using lightener.
